Food is any substance, that composed of the carbohydrates, water, fats and proteins, that is either drunk or eaten by any animal, including the humans, for nutrition or pleasure. Items considered for food may be sourced from plants and animals.
Many of the traditions have a specific set of cooking traditions using various spices or combinations of flavors unique to that culture. Some other differences include preferences, and practices, the study of which is known as gastronomy. Many cultures have differenced their foods by means of preparation, cooking methods and manufacturing. This also includes the complex food trade which helps the cultures to economically survive by-way-of food, not just by consumption.
